This is a handy masala / spice mix that has ingredients which have many health benefits. The masala itself can be used in various Indian recipes.
Culinary uses of this masala:
- You can mix 1 tbsp of this masala in 2 cup flour (roti ka aata) for a spiced up taste.
- Add the masala to pakoda mixture, soups, sabzis and salads.
- Add this masala to any stuffing made for parathas.
Ingredient:
Fenugreek seeds (methi): 1/4tbsp
Carom seeds (ajwain): 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds (sanuf): 2tbsp
Flax seeds (alsi): 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds (til): 2 tbsp
Pumpkin seeds(kaddu ke beej): 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds (jeera): 2 tbsp
Method:
- Dry roast all the ingredients separately until light brown. Let them cool and then grind in a mixer. Store in an air tight container.
