Masala sattu chaas recipe
Ingredients for 3 to 4 servings
- 500 ml buttermilk
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- Salt according to taste
Ingredients to grind
- 3 tbsp chana ka sattu powder
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves
- 15 curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp grated ginger
- 1 green chili (optional)
Ingredients for tempering
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
Procedure to make masala sattu chaas
- In a bowl take buttermilk.
- In a grinder jar, put mint leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger, green chili, and chana sattu powder. Grind this mixture coarsely and combine it with buttermilk.
- Add salt and roasted cumin powder and mix well.
- Heat oil in a tadka pan, put cumin seeds, as seeds sizzle, add asafoetida, and pour tempering over buttermilk.
- Masala sattu chaas is ready to serve.
